Pharmacoepidemiology and Risk Management is an official publication of the Korean Society for Pharmacoepidemiology and Risk Management to provide broad and in-depth development of pharmacoepidemiology.
The journal publishes special articles on clinical and basic studies pertaining to pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacovigilance, risk management, post-marketing surveillance, drug utilization review, causality assessment of drug adverse reaction, which are to promote drug safety in Korea. The editorial board calls for the articles that originate from worldwide research or clinical study groups and the publication is determined by the editors and reviewers who are the experts in the special field of pharmacoepidemiology. The categories of manuscripts are original articles, case reports, reviews, special contributions, series and letters to the Editor. The journal is published biannually and distributed to members of the Korean Society of Pharmacoepidemiology and Risk Management, medical schools, libraries and related institutes to pursue the academic advancement in pharmacoepidemiology and to promote an active communication between the members and international societies of pharmacoepidemiology. Eventually, the journal aims to contribute to advancing the health of the public.
